During fhe shorf frip from 'lhe senfry's box fo fhe Dorm we gaped af fhe campus, wondering how we'd ever find our way around such a huge place. Again fhe car sfopped, and while we raked fhrough our hair and added a dab of lipsfick, our suifcases were unloaded on fhe waifing curb. We groaned as we looked af fhe mounfain of sfeps, camou- flaged now by groups of chaffering females. On every sfep we mef a new face which soon was fo become a familiar friend. Some kind soul snafched us from fhe crowding fhrong and pulled us fo fhe inner sancfum of Memorial Dormifory. Refreshing our parched fhroafs wifh a coke from fhe machine which was lafer fo supplemenf many a meal fickef, we were ready fo meef fhe house-mofher. We pushed on down fhe narrow halls fo her welcome arms. Wifh fired handshakes buf warm hearfs, we greefed our new parenf and fook fhe paper confaining our room assignmenf. Though blurry-eyed and bewildered we managed fo pick up our bags for fhe lasf fime and wifh fhe fhoughf of only a few more yards, fhen BED, sfaggered onward, foward fhe magnefic door-knob. Then forward Po Phe cafeferia, where we wildly ordered Phe mosP expensive dishes on Phe menu in order Po celebrafe our arrival. Slowly we Poured every nook and corner of Phe depoP unPiI we visiPed Phe cuPesP souvenir shop: Phen senP our second Pelegram wi+h Phe proverbial plea, soon Po become a weekly Pheme- Send more money.
