Looking back on The lengThy world conTlicT we realize ThaT vicTory will come To our side primarily because our counTry has excelled in producing The mechanical implemenTs oT warTarep because we have been successTul in Training ouTsTanding Technicians who have perTecTed and Turned ouT superior weapons wiTh which To overwhelm our enemies. T Looking ahead we Tind anoTher Task conTronTing us. IT is ThaT more diTTiculT assignmenT oT esTablishing and keeping The peace. EducaTion's responsibiliTy will be To Train compeTenT social scienTisTs who can helpsolve The complicaTed problems oT mainTaining world peace iusT as successTully as Their associaTes. T A As To insTrucTion, we no longer had This year The several Thousand Army specialized Trainees oT i943-44. buT we have conTinued during i944-45 The Teaching in our Medical College oT a quoTa oT over ZOO Army and Navy Trainees. , As To research, our scienTisTs are s+ill engaged in proiecTs oT deTiniTe value Tor The Army and The Navy and Tor war-Time indusTry.
