THE MCMICKEN COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS f I 'U'IE MCMICKEN COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS entered last fan upon the forty-second year of its activity, with an enrollment of thirteen hundred and seven students. Its work is now of two kinds: it affords a complete academic course for those desiring the Bachelor of Arts degree, and it provides prepara- tory training for those wishing, after two years in Liberal Arts, to enter upon a professional career. Thus it prepares a Student directly for the College for Teachers, the Medical College, the School of Household Arts, and the College of Commerce. It recognizes the work that he may do in the Law School, the Hebrew Union College, or Lane Seminary. Besides the regular day courses, evening classes are held from seven-thirty t0 nineithirty for those students who are working for a degree as well as those who merely desire to broaden their intellectual outlook.
