K9 Oscar Sullins keeps the adding machine busy as he checks on purchase prices. Dr. Bill Fisher took over as director of admission and records during the past summer semester. Officers Handle School Policies Central State administrative officers have many and varied duties. Among them are taking care of all college finances, handling public relations, keeping academic records of students, and obtaining all necessary furniture and equipment for campus buildings. Alvin Alcorn holds the title of Comptroller and is responsible 'for over-seeing all incoming money and ensuring its use in the best possible manner for the opera- tion of Central State. Mrs. Leda Cantrell, bursar, is in charge of collecting all money paid to the school. She signs all checks, and keeps records of CSC expenditures. Max O. Davis, director of Public Information and Development, handles pub- licity for the school. Oscar 'Sullins, purchasing agent, has the responsibility for con- tracting facilities for Central. Dr. Bill E. Fisher, director of Admissions and Records, took over his duties in the summer. He formerly was head of student teaching. Comptroller Alvin Alcorn looks out over the growing campus. He is responsible for the business of the school.

Sewing as academic dean of the College since 1951, Dr. Joe Jackson goes over some ofthe many pieces of correspondence that concern the school. As Dean of Students, Dr. Charles Richmond is primarily responsible for the development, coordina- tion, interpretation and leadership of a comprehensive program of student activities and services. Deans Direct Student Programs 1 ln his twenty-fourth year at Central State, Dr. E. C. Hall, graduate dean, directs CentroI's fifth-year program leading to the Master of Teach- ing degree. Dr. Joe C. Jackson serves as academic dean, directing the entire curriculum of the school. Dr. E. C. Hall heads the expanding graduate program at CSC, and Dr. Charles Richmond serves as counselor and coordinator of student activities. Dean Wilma Armstrong is Dean of Women, and Alvin Freiberger is Dean of Men.
