, O O s flnall Friday es, it's finally Friday, belive it or not, you did make it through the week. You have forked hard all week and now it's ime to play hard. The weekend waits, but first, one must make up is mind as to what to do. The hoices...well there are a few. How bout going home to see the folks, or what about renting movies and throw- ig a party, or loading up the gang nd taking a road trip to Little Rock. Vhat ever you decided to do you now to make plans early. Have you ver seen the campus at 3 o'clock Fri- ay? Anyone left without plans usally its the road and probably won't be een until Monday morning. What do you do when you go home? Well, you unload your car, take your mom yourlaundry, raid the re- frigerator, and call the home gang. You discuss your future with your fa- ther and fight with your brother over the car. You'll probably see your grandmother and maybe some company will drop by. Your mother cooks your favorite food and you ask her to give you all the leftoves .Not too bad for a weekend. If you decide to stay in Conway, your Friday night might be spent tak- ing a break with a few of your friends. Someone rents the movies, another springs for a pizza or two, and someone else makes a run to the Food 4 Less for the makings for cheese dip. Everyone sits around and laughs and promises to spend Sunday in the library. Fridays are definitely for good times. If you did the rented- movie party the Friday before perhaps an exciting trip to Little Rock would be in order. A shopping spree in McCain Mall doesn't sound bad if Dad will lend you his credit card. You might check out the dance floors around Little Rock, and if you'er really lucky, there just might be a concer1 in town. Whatever you do with your Friday, it should be-the start of a good weekend. Relax and enjoy, for Mon- day is on the way. Q l.C.A., 3 o'clock Friday. Do you know what Ju are doing this weekend? Student Life 21

aturday night ends the week fter a long week of classes and lectures, the typical student . has been 'working for the eekend'. Now it has finally arrived. aturday, a day of rest and relaxation, here. It has traditionally become a ay when most students can sleep un- l the sun has halfway completed its 'ek across the sky. This rest and :laxation now falls away to boredom, nd Saturday night becomes the :lease for the now well-rested udent. Saturday night for a semester has been filled with the weekly exploits of the UCA Bears football team. This year was to be no different. The Bears pulled off their fourth straight AIC championship and once again moved into the NAIA playoffs. Many week- ends were planned ahead to watch the team continue on in the winning spirit. When the fall was over and spring had come, the Bears were no longer there to fill up the Saturday nights of the loyal fans. Something had to be found to fill the void left by their absence. Christmas break did not do enough to fill the needs of Saturday night. That's when Little Rock comes into the picture. The lights of the state's capital drew many to the malls and nightspots to fill those surplus evening hours. Streamers, Charlie's, and Bobbisox, just to name a few, soon took the place of Estes Stadium as the 'in' place to be. Many students make this trek to Little Rock to find enjoyment in the company of many other students. Q the fall semester. Football Night. The Bears provide an inter- esting Saturday night's entertainment during Saturday Night23
