AT UCA It was a very good year for winning, growing, learning ..... It was a very good year .... for winning, growing, learning, sharing, and living. lt was the year we were immortalized by way of the movie 9-30-55 , and it was the year we faced the rising costs of higher education with tuition and activity increases, but we were thankful for the stable costs of room and board. It was a year for new looks as renovations were seen in Wingo Hall and Ida Waldran Auditorium, the Student Center received a rainbow of colors when the interior was painted, and Torreyson Library was expanded to accommodate more students and 350,000 more books. It was the year we were proud of our athletic teams our music, art, speech, drama, in fact all departments and UCA organizations. lt was the year we were surprised that the administration had parking meters installed on campus, at the Post Office, cafeterias, and the Administration building. Winning, growing, sharing, and living... it was a very good year at UCA.
