370 Finale Ending signifies a new beginning As this year at State College of Arkansas comes to a close for us, another one is just be- ginning for the 1970 Scroll. What that book is like will depend upon what you as students do with your .new awareness-your concern about college activities and the world off-campus. We have tried to produce a book for you which is enjoyable and which will serve as a record of SCA-1969. Producing this yearbook has entailed many heartaches, headaches and plain work. We also experienced some good times and even learned a little about this mechanism, a college. Now that the book has gone to press we are left with a feeling of accomplishment and, yes, relief. Thank-yous are in order for Frank Birdwell, associate editor, and Anita Price and Bob Ment- gen, assistant editors, for all their help and en- couragement throughout the year. Without them there would have been no book. A special thank-you goes to Miss Dorothy Finklea, Scroll adviser, who survived on ham- burgers and cottage cheese sandwiches while advising the book. Mr. Ben Red was very helpful with portrait taking. The Staff also extends its appreciation to all others who were involved in and cooperated with the production of the Scroll in any way.
