FBATERNITY INLTER- CUUNCIL THE FRATEBNITY YEAR IN REVIEW I.00IiS LIKE THIS: F1'0Sh Camp, Where each frat is allowed five men, but more go to look ,em over and develop lasting friendships- lasting until Thanksgiving. King Frosh is showered with smokers, dinner invitations, and parties,,notable are SLS's firemen's ball, KB7s old clothes parties, EEP's baby party and nite club, not to mention KDR's boilermakers' brawl and Indian Ladder picnic. Comes the day fatale, the pressure really begins, itls Monday and bids must be returned, tl1e last 1ni11ute rush, pardon the pun. Frosh wondering what the score is, and brethren just wondering- and worrying. It's all over and the Frosh is rudely jolted down to the lowly life of a pledge . What a come-down! lnterfraternity Ball, pledgeship, and Hell Week rapidly follow. State becomes Tuxedo Junction, with records, clothes backwards, making it a great world-for everyone except the Frosh. Get out the paddles, itis the big night. After it's all over, 'you're on the clean-up committee. Ya can't win! The year comes to an end with lnterfraternity Banquet where all the fellows gather and get chuinmy-for one evening. But watch out for next fall. Ain't it Hell! 20 Twas the night before bidding
