Keith Hull English Keith Hull, Assistant Professor of English, received one of the highest overall ratings in the 1971-72 Student Evaluations. When asked Why he thought he had done so well he replied, HYou,ve got to respect the students. I donyt mean necessarily like them or love them, but at least have respect for them and what they are trying to do or what they try to tell vou. You also have to have a love for what it is youlre teaching, and I do enjoy what I'm teachingf, HI very much appreciate the sort of Cacademicl freedom that I have. Phillis Bear Microbiology Phillis Bear, Associate Professor of Micro- biology and Vet Medicine said she wished the students would participate more in their student government. 'iThe Student Appeals Board is set up so that if a student feels a real injustice has been done, such as in grading, any kind of capriciousness, or even housing, the student now has a place to go. It is a place to appeal if you really have a gripe. The students should endorse it and use it where appropriate Ild like to see the students take their senate more seriously. They should back their senators and their steering committee. If the students and the faculty work together instead of as adversaries we can make this a beautiful institution.
