The marching band performed during half-time on the grid-iron. the band played on Under the direction of Charles Seltenrich, this 110 piece marching band was seen at football and basketball games. Band supporters through- out Wyoming raised the necessary funds to send the group to the Sun Bowl, Dec. 31. S j||jimilHf|i| | mm gM The cross country meets were held during the months of October and November. In the first meet with Colorado U. and the Air Force Acad- emy, Russ Donley placed fifth among 30 in the three mile run. Donley later placed third at conference in the same race and first in a return meet with the academy. Three-miler Gary Dar- nell placed third and fourth in the latter two meets. a chorus from Vienna The Vienna Academy Chorus pre- sented a program of singing and danc- ing, Nov. 12. Besides singing and dancing their native songs, this group also accom- panied itself. Brought back onstage twice for encores, the group ended their enter- tainment by singing the Blue Danube Waltz.
