Pi Beta Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Lambda Deha Sigma took top honors in the annual Home- coming Sing, Oct. 24. Kappa Delta Sigma Chi and Knight Hall took second places with Alpha Chi Omega, Sigma Nu and Hoyt Hall placing third. Justice Glenn Parker was presented the Outstand- ing Alumni Award. the air Mary Kay and Mary rode in the Homecoming parade, Oct. 25.

Formal Homecoming Sing, Friday evening, October 24 . . . once again the holiday week-end opening came with a burst of blossom- ing color and swirling lace . . . . . . the big, rough and tumble fieldhouse found itself hosting a very contrasting scene from the sweating activity of its usual basketball games. rnary Mary Osborne, Knight Hall candidate, was attendant to the Homecoming queen. and ice in Engineering representatives took the two Marys on a whirl-wind state tour.

«- ' r Climb Aboard A Butterfly — and climb aboard they did! Lambda Delta Sigma not only wisked away with first place in the independent division, but they also, sailed off with the award for the best all-around float with colors of royal blue and white. Miss Karen Kocher- hons was the human touch. Dial WYO for Victory rang true for Pi Beta Phi in sorority competition, bringing their third con- secutive first in the ' 58 Homecoming. They won first in the Homecoming Sing the evening before and sponsored the ' 58 Homecoming queen, Miss Mary Kay Kingham. The classy brown and yel- low float modeled exquisite Miss NiNi Simon. With Be A Menace and Ruff the Lobos, Phi Delta Theta came up with this intricately and cleverly executed first place winner in the fraternity division. 18 Further winners were, Independents: Knight Hall, second with Three Little Pigs and ISA, third with Feast on the Lobos. Sororities: Kappa Kappa Gamma, second with We ' re on the Right Track and Chi Omega, third with a candy-cane theme of Lick ' em. Fraternities: Acacia, second with The Painter and Kappa Sigma, third with Fly High, Pokes. anticipating. . . oi ■•Wf S '
