NEW PREXY Dr. Morrill, new president of the University of Wyoming, seems well pleased with his task. 1 he University of Wyoming has a new presi- dent. Coming from Ohio State university, Dr. J. L. Morrill has become an institution in the short time he has been here. His friendly smile and ability at saying just the right thing have made him a companion to many, a valuable acquaintance to more. We are looking forward to another year under fine leadership. Greetings, Prexy! We ' re glad to have you with us. The first year of the Uni- versity under the leadership of President J. L. Morrill has seen the inauguration of an ambi- tious high school recruiting pro- gram; the beginning of a cam- paign to bring about the ap- proval of the Navy v-i program at the University; the introduc- tion of such defense courses as first aid, gasoline engines, home nursing, and nutrition into the curriculum; the speeding up the Engineer ' s program; the ap- pointment of a Universitv de- fense committee and a Presi- dent ' s cabinet.
