Mr. Richard Stoner, Director The Student Union Board of Directors, meet- ing every third Wednesday, consists of six stu- dents and five faculty members. Dr. Schaffer is chairman of the board and Mr. Stoner is secre- tary. Because the Union is new and the board is functioning for the first time, many problems arise. The board uses its best discretion in solv- ing these problems; it wants the greatest bene- fits for those who use the Union. This year the board adopted a constitution and began plans for naming the rooms of the Union. The Union Activities Board consists of stu- dents who are interested in functions and pro- graming for the Union. Games, public relations, arts and crafts, and dances are typical con- cerns. An outing Club was formed for the ben- efit of the students. Roller skating, skiing, and swimming are a few of the proiects carried out by the group.
