ATNS OFFICERS Pat Costigan, Carol Thiers, Mary Wesemann, Bette Cunningham, Karen Knaak, Dean Forbush. AWS Upon enrollment in the College, all women students automatically become members of As- sociated Women Students. The AWS Council is composed of the officers and twenty-one de- partmental and class representatives who are etected annually by the women students in each class. The primary purpose of the Association is to assist in the development of college policies re- lating specifically to women students. Other ac- tivities include the publication of the Student Handbook, 0 social program highlighted by the annual Women's Dinner, a series of monthly convocations for women students, the Pre-Exom 24 Breakfast, 0 charity drive, a spring banquet, a householders tea, maintenance of the womenhs lounge, and participation in freshman orienta- tion through the Big and Little Sister picnic. The special requirement for Council members is a TC average, and the officers must have a C plus or 1.5 average. The officers were Betty Cunningham, presi- dent; Karen Knock, secretory; Carol Thiers, treasurer; and Patricia Costigan, Royal Purple reporter. The sponsor of AWS is Miss Core For- bush.
