Engineer Frank Rymer and Mar- garet Crichton, copy writer, watch the pro- ceedings. The religious groups had floats for the Homecoming parade synonomous with church themes. The Alpha booth made money for the girls at the annual Fun Festival sponsored by the Commercial Club.

J Early in 1 annual He ODieconimci le month of October, campus organizations began preparations -for necoming events. A casual glance would tell one that these organiza- tions were working on skits, floats and house decorations. Friday evening. October 29, skit night was held in the auditorium with many groups giving their interpretations of the coming Saturday ' s festivities. Following this, a bonfire was lighted at the lower end of Hamilton Field, with traditional cere- monies. After this, the college students and faculty dispersed. Saturday morning it rained, but it did not affect the day ' s activities. The parade, - ' Ith a few inconsequential delays, went off without a hitch. First prizes were awarded 1c Phi Sigma Epsilon, Tri Sigma, and Alpha Sigma. The Sigma Tau Gamma house dec- orations won In Its division. In the afternoon, with accompanying blaring of the band, the football game between WSTC and Eau Claire got under way.
