FACULTY EDUCATION As Doan of Mon, Dr. Loop has much to do with solving school problems. His education courses are a boon to many who intend to toach. One cannot praise too highly the good advice which Miss Teerink offers in hor position as teacher and supervisor of student teachers. Prof. Vernon E. Van Patter is principal of the training department in the McCaskill school and is head of the Placement Bureau, set up to find jobs for graduates of this school intending to teach. Both Miss Carsley and Miss Cams are especially concerned with the Rural Department. Their outside interests are largely connected with radio programs. Miss Barbour looks at education from the Kindergarten-Primary standpoint. She is an extensive traveler. Mr. Almy looks at the same subject from the Grammar-Junior-High angle and Mr. Williams' interest lies in the psychology of education and he also finds time to supervise student teachers. Children s literature and amusements are the main interests of Miss Barse, co-instructor in the Kindergarten-Primary Department. Twenty

FACULTY PHYSICAL SCIENCES In the Chemistry Department is Mr. Whealdon, who likes to recall by gone days. Visits to his cottage on the Brule are greatly anticipated by his friends. Mr. Schrieber, teacher of Physics and Physical Science, enlightens many on the subject of Astronomy by pointing out the stars, moon and planets through the telescope at the observatory. Dr. Rollefson is never too busy to take care of all aches and pains. Keeps an ever watchful eye on all athletic injuries and teaches Physiology and Hygiene. Mr. Weeks, of the Organic and Inorganic Chemistry section, is also an important feature on our Athletic Committee. Is quite an announcer at home football games, too. Nln»l««n
