Each year we take in above fifty new girls at Nelson Hall to fill the places left vacant by graduates of the college. We strive to make these strangers feel at home and realize at once that they are a part of our household. Organized effort is employed and committees chosen to plan ways for the new girls to become acquainted. Our Freshmen initiation is one of our pleasantest and most carefully planned social affairs of the year. By being so cordially received these girls are made to feel that they truly belong and so feel at home, among friends and that any rules for conduct are fair and just and cheerfully obeyed. NELSON HALL [25]
