The week of January 23-28 was selected as Foundation Week, and events were held throughout for the purpose of raising money. Foundotion Week this year was highlighted by a Variety Show on Monday night, an all-school aance on Thursday, and the Falcon basketball victory over Stout on Saturday night. At ten o'clock Saturday morning the Homecoming parade, one of the biggest on record, rolled by the judging stand. A new addition this year was the all girl band, the Falconettes. Many ogreed that the girls added just the right amount of color to make this a most brilliant Homecoming parade. Suppress Superior wos the slogan this year, and suppressed they were, a 47-0 trouncing which capped the '56 Homecoming as one of the best. The Homecoming dance Saturday night seemed the perfect ending for it was a good chance for everyone to relax and enjoy the music of Dave Hurlv nd his orchestra and to forget the weeks of preparation and excitement. Credit must be given Chairman Anderson and to all who helped him. The ingredients of a good homecoming? River Falls hod supplied them.
