The editors realize that this roster of the service men and women of the River Falls State Teachers College is no doubt incomplete and perhaps inaccurate in some details. Such omissions and inaccuracies are due to the inability or failure of some to respond to the questionnaires whicn were sent by Dean Stratton to all men who had attended the college since 1931. This list is compiled from the replies received and from Dean Stratton's records. Only abbreviations which are commonly known have been used, and at the suggestion of servicemen themselves the more general awards (Victory Medal, Good Conduct Ribbon, etc.) have been omitted. However, a sincere effort has been made to make this a true and valuable record of the part taken by our men and women in World War II. Additions and corrections will be appreciated by the editors.
