Conrad Arnold Elvehjem New President of the University Dr. Conrad Elvehjem, world famous biochemist and Dean of the Graduate School lus been elected thirteenth President of the University. Dr. Elvehjem attracted world-wide attention when he isolated nicotinic acid in the late 1930's, Hts accomplishment lead to the cure for human pellagra.
