This factor has the same validity in building better human relations in a college. Realization of this prompted the establishment of a Student Policy committee, an outgrowth from the Faculty-Student Conference Members on the council meet twice a month to present student problems to the president of the college, who in turn raises the issues with the faculty. Student Policy committee attempts to act as a sounding board for student grievances concerning any phase of faculty-student relations. The committee is only a few months old. but as the tasks become clearer, more will be accomplished. For work well done in this phase of human relations goes due commendation to this committee. 7 M I L W A U K E E STATE TEACHERS COLLEGE Ill Ousi Pn ti e U 0 0 0 0 Many in tin- world who have never heard of Milwaukee State Teacher college arc familiar with tlx name of our president. Yet by the very fact that the critical shortage of teachers throughout the nation will mean longer hours, it may also mean a future brightened by better equipped class rooms, higher salaries, and more opportunities for advancement. In an aroused public opinion against the little red school-house lies the hope for these young educators in their chosen profession. Graduating seniors arc leaving MSTC to enter the profession for which they have so long prepared They are leaving with a rich background of education from their specific divisions and from their academic and minor fields. With these seniors go the best wishes of their fellow students and faculty members. MSTG is proud of these new- members of the Noble Profession. 2 James R. Abralum — Music.
