La Crosse, as a teacher ' s college offers a variety of majors and minors to choose from and all the necessary education courses to graduate with a degree in teaching. Majors are obtained in general science and physi- cal science with minors in Bi- ology, Geography, and Math- ematics. Some of the courses include Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Conserva- tion, Anatomy, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Hisfory Students majoring or minor- ing in history select courses such as American and Europ- ean histories. Contemporary World, Sociology, Political Science, and Early Europe. All students receive some part of this field to broaden their education. 10
