Composed of one exofficio regent • the state superintendent - and 12 persons appointed by the governor, its membership totals 13. The board members, one of which must be a woman, serve rotating terms, each culminating after 5 years. Meetings arc held on the different state college campuses and once a year the policy makers gather in the State Capital Building at Madison. The public is made welcome at all board sessions.
