This has been an interesting but difficult college year. The army program has brought interesting challenges to us, but has made necessary many readjustments to both students and faculty. Confidently we are looking forward to the post-war period with its promise of great building years for the college, but we shall not forget the interesting but hectic days of 1943 and 1944. You can best serve your college by keeping at high pitch your own enthusiasm for the Eau Claire State Teachers' College. Students who have been here write that they did not appreciate the good things we have until they had gone elsewhere. A new day for the college is dawning —will you be ready to play your part in its future? Will you recognize and appreciate the fine things at Eau Claire while you arc enjoying them? Will you pledge your personal loyalty to your Alma Mater? CW. 31. S)avies President. 19 4 4 PERISCOPE Fourteen
