It is possible that one Costerfof Haarlem, Holland, is the father of printing rather than Gutenberg, but Gutenbefgand Coster began printing frornnmovable type about the same time. 1 -: I do not know an indention that better merits commemoration by the,Badger. Up togthe time of printing from movable type the human tenglency t6-keep things secret, to develop a monopoly on information and, surrounding a certain sort of knowledge with mystery, to use it as a tool of tyranny over others, ran more or less unhindered.
