Presidenfs Message Photo by Bill Barrett To the members of the 1964 Graduating Class I extend my sincerest con- gratulations for your past achievements and best wishes for the future. It is my hope that you will recognize education as something which is not reserved exclusively for the young. The happy and often successful person never loses interest in learning. He looks upon education as something more than utili- tarian designed narrowly to fit a person for a particular career. Changes in the world today are taking place so rapidly and so frequently that graduates must recognize the importance of education as a continuing process if they are to give proper leadership in this crucial period of the world's history. You are certain to find a full and satisfying life if you accept this responsibility with a sense of moral and spiritual obligation. G. Edward Hall, President and Vice-Chancellor. 15
