THE FRESHMEN September — school days, elevate your obligatum ' week, choir try-outs, week-end recreations in the gym, church parties, club socials, choir concerts, school dances and most important of all — classes and exams. This is just a brief review of a freshman ' s school year calendar. There is more to it than meets the eye. But it ' s all so much fun — this cycle of one ' s first year in college. Remember those medical exams and gay, warm afternoons when we all went to town, those mid- night snacks and parties, that week that came three times a year when there was a candle burning and brain shortage.
