They who have been accustomed to living in a limited family are now to become members of West Georgia ' s wide family group. Honorable sophomores initiate Rats in fine style — with the faculty to the rescue with the first formal to welcome new students. Classes be- gin and still-wondering frosh learn what work really is. One good time after another balanced with hard work. Sports, new clubs and old, books, unheard-of studies capture the minds of the freshmen crop. Holidays. Each time they grow more eager to return. Now full-fledged members of W. G. C. they sense that they belong, that they have found their place. New facts, new faces, new friends, have all been learned. All too soon ' 41 - ' 42 is over and with sad hearts the soph- omores-to-be leave with vivid memories of their first year of college!
