After the award of the various prizes the entire college adjourned to Centennial Field to see and participate in the traditional alumni baseball game from which the natural thing was to adjourn to the fraternity reunions which were in full swing all evening and which in many cases lasted for longer than that. On Sunday fraternity teas in the early part of the afternoon gave way to the solemn beauty of the Baccalaureate services in the Ira Allen Chapel, from which the seniors returned with life taking on a new meaning for them. With the impressive graduation exercises on Monday, the class of l94l stepped out of the portals of the University of Vermont, its undergraduate life completed, ready to go into a world, now, more than ever before, uncertain and awesome.
