THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO GIVE THE ALUMNI A VOICE IN UNIVERSITY AFFAIRS AND TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS AND GOODWILL OF ALUMNI AND UNDERGRADUATES ALIKE. THIS PROMOTION INCLUDES STUDENT FINANCIAL AID TO ENGINEERING UNDERGRADUATES AT TORONTO IN SUPPORT THE NATIONAL FIND THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES AND LOANS. CLASS ORGANIZATIONS ARE THE BACKBONE OF ALUMNI WORKS AND PROVIDE THE LEADERSHIP WHICH MAKES THE ALUMNI EFFECTIVE.
