Organizations American Chemical Society The society is designed to pro- vide students interested in chem- istry and related fields with a greater insight into these fields. The American Chemical Society invites speakers who are special- ists in their respective fields. It sponsors films and field trips to various laboratories. International Club Students from all over the world come to study at PAU, and are welcomed by the International Club. Organizations a. Bill Griffin was one of the new staff members who came in at the start of the spring semester. b. Ron Keller was the graduate assistant to the newspaper staff. c. Beatrice Egle, David Newman, and Craig Smith prepared copy for another issue of the Pan American in the newspaper staff office. Student Publications later moved to larger offices on the first floor of Emilia Hall. d. Martha McClain ponders a moment on her notes before writing her story. e. Every Tuesday afternoon, members of the newspaper staff paste up what eventually will be The Pan American. f. Craig Smith was approved as editor by the Publications Committee after Jim Townsend resigned. g. Another newcomer to the newspaper staff was Randy Willard.
