The members attended district, state and national conventions and made educational trips to public schools. A dinner for two at La Posada Inn, two tickets to a dance and a bottle of liquor were the prizes awarded in the SNEA raffle.

Organizations Samothrace An organization of career ori- ented college women, the Samothrace Club was estab- lished to familiarize members with business opportunities open to women and to involve mem- bers in campus and civic func- tions. It sponsored speakers from the Placement Office and Career Planning Center. Pan American Art Association The Art Club was re-established this year to involve art students in local exhibits and to give them an opportunity to exhibit their work. Members organized an exhibit of student art work in the cam- pus art gallery.
