While working to develop a true sisterhood among its members, the chapter promotes musician- ship and scholarship and advancement of music in Amer- ica and throughout the world. Pre-Law Society This organization serves stu- dents interested in becoming lawyers and law enforcement officers. Providing its members with per- tinent information in such fields and to help them achieve leader- ship and professional qualities necessary in law professions are Pre-Law Societyis main goals.

Organizations Phi Chi Theta A chapter of Delta Epsilon, Phi Chi Theta is in its first year of existence at Pan Am. The purpose of this organization is to promote the cause of higher business education and training for all women and to encourage fraternity and cooperation among these women. Organizations Alpha Phi Omega A national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega assembles col- lege men in the fellowship of the principles of the Boy Scouts of America as embodied in its oath and law. The organization promotes friendship and provides service to humanity. Debators Composed of six able members, the Pan Am Debators had a very successful year. They attended tournaments at Southwest Texas State, where they won one of four debates, and they also attended a tourna- ment at the University of Texas, winning two of four debates.
