Academics Biology Students in biology may receive a bachelor of science degree with a major in biology or medical technology. A minor in biology is also available. There is a curriculum for a maijlor in biology or medical tec nology or a biology elemen- tary or secondary teaching plan. The department has majors in biology, pre-med and pre-den- tistry. TASCA fcollege level of the Texas Academy of Sciencej and Pre-Med Club are sponsored by the Biology department. Some of the interesting subjects taught are marine botany, marine Zoology, marine ecology and marine phycology.
