Battled No. 1 Despite their lack of height and lack of tournament experience, the Broncettes qualified for the state finals. At state they were unable to down their first oppo- nent, the No. 1 ranked Texas Woman's volleyball team. The TWU team won the first game and was leading 12-3 in the second when the Broncettes surged back for a 15-13 victory to tie the match at one-all. TWU grabbed the third game to win the match. PAU dropped two more and so returned home to regroup for next season. Mary Seitz, Gracie Gonzalez and Irma Cavazos were the starters for the 1974-75 Bron- cettes. Captains for the team, which is coached by Dr. Mary Lee Rabke, were Magda Molina and Lucinda Saenz. a. The 1974-75 roster included: Front: Magda Molina, team captain.
