Organizations K, Veterans, Organization Participating in the Veterans, Day ceremony and donating money to the Christmas Tree Fund were two of the Veterans' major projects this year. They participated in the Carni- val of the Great Pumpkin with their very popular Egg Castle. The Veterans honored Yolanda Solis as their sweetheart and she was later named Bronco Queen. Scholarships for several deserv- ing students of the Valley were awarded by the Veterans' Organization. WIS'

Organizations El Sol Advised by Luciano Benavides, El Sol strives to promote cultural awareness. It encourages students to con- tinue their education. El Sol sponsored a political cam- paign appearance by Ramsey Muniz, a candidate for governor of Texas. Psychology Club A newly-formed organization, the Psychology Club is open to any psychology major or minor.
