HOME EC ASSOCIATION SERVES PAC The Pan American College Chapter of the American Home Economics Association is a ser- vice organization to promote interest in home economics. The 1964-65 school year began with the for- mal initiation and an illustrated talk by Robert Nunn of Turkey and Peace Corps activity in that country. In November, a group of the members took part in a workshop for Texas Home Eco- nomics Association College Chapters held at the University of Texas. For Bronco Days, The organi- zation sponsored a queen candidate and the third place float depicting the roles of modern women. During December, the organization made and sold pepper relish, collected food, collected clothing and gifts for a needy family, and held its annual Christmas Tea. The program for the Tea was a European Travelogue presented by Miss Estella Cuellar. The major events of the Spring Semester were the formal initiation and the Spring Tea and Style Show. The organization also sponsored a candidate in the Miss Pan American Contest.
