MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT TO THE STUDENTS AND FACULTY OF PAN AMERICAN COLLEGE The members of The GraduaTing Class of 1965 have viewed many accomplishmenTs aT Pan American College since Their arrival on The campus Tour years ago. They have had The opporTuniTy To waTch The size of The sTudenT body increase. The new campus has evolved from Three permanenT buildings To iTs presenT value of over 3 million dollars. During This Tour year period, Governor John Connally and mosT of The members of The STaTe LegislaTure visiTed The campus. This was only one oT The many sTeps ThaT led To Tull STaTe supporT for The College. Also during This period, our curriculum and Taculry was sTrengTh- ened. The TaculTy made a comprehensive self-sTudy of The College To Tulfill one of The requiremenTs for accrediTaTion by The SouThern AssociaTion of Colleges and Schools. ln The area of sTudenT acTiviTies, STudenT GovernmenT was im- proved and naTional social organizaTions became a parT of college liTe. Our Tennis Team conTinued iTs naTional prominence, and The baskeTball Team broughT recogniTion To The campus by winning The naTional championship.
