Despite valiant efforts by Laird Lawrence and Rene McClellan, the faculty prevailed over the women 14-12. In intramural play, the Illegal Eagles finished with a perfect 5-0 record easily winning their division. However, they fell in the championship game to archrivals Our Gang. In the men’s division the Legal Eagles romped their opponents and took the Law School championship. Despite their loss to the Eagles, Erie R. R. Co. hosted a banquet at the Back Door and invited Coach Wright and his team as special guests. Former UT Head Coach Darrell K. Royal keynoted the invitation-only fete. Sports — 13
