Law School Foundation If you plant for a year hence, plant rice; if for ten years, plant a tree,- but if for a hundred years, educate men. With the assistance of alumni and friends, THE LAW SCHOOL FOUNDATION played a vital role in assuring the state and nation outstanding legal leadership. The FOUNDATION, a private non-profit corporation chartered under the State of Texas, operated as an educational foundation providing financial support unavailable through normal University channels. By securing and holding outstanding faculty from general endowment chairs and professorships, the FOUNDATION aided in scholarship provisions, loans and employment and travel for professional development.
