EDWARD WELDON BAILEY Burleson Professor of Law Mr. Bailey received his B.A. (1920) and his Ll.B. (1928) from the University of Texas, and in 1942 his S.J.D. from Harvard University. He was an editor of the Texas Law Review a Chancellor, and was awarded the Order of the Coif. His practice is now limited primarily to consultations, although he was associated with Callaway and Reed, Dallas, Texas, from 1928 to 1930. Mr. Bailey joined the faculty as associate professor and has since become Burleson Professor of Law. He was a member of the State Bar Committee to draft the Texas Business Corporation Act. has had numerous articles in law reviews, and is in the course of publishing a textbook, Texas Law of Wills. He is a member of Phi Delta Phi and teaches Commercial Paper and Trusts. RICHARD V. BARNDT Professor of Law Mr. Barndt graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S.L. (1959) and an Ll.B. (I960). He then taught at Montana State University(1961), the University of Houston (1962), the University of Washington (1963), joining the faculty at Texas in 1964 as associate professor. Mr. Barndt received the Order of the Coif and was Editor-in-Chief of the Utah Law Review. He has written several articles, publishing Language and Logic in the Law” and Possible Worlds of Promise” in the Texas Law Review. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and has been Academic Advisor to the Legislative Intern Program and is presently a Legislative Consultant. Mr. Bardnt is on the Faculty Standards and Graduate Committees and teaches courses in Contracts, Legislation, and Language and Logic. VINCENT A. BLASI Assistant Professor of Law Mr. Blasi came to Texas this year after having received his B.A. from Northwestern (1964) and his S.J.D. from the University of Chicago (1967). He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, received the Order of the Coif, and was Associate Editor of the Chicago Law Review. He has done volunteer work for the American Civil Liberties Union in Atlanta, Georgia, and has had an article, Standing to Object to Unreasonable Search and Seizure in the Chicago Law Review. Mr. Blasi teaches Constitutional Law, Injuries to Relations, and Government Regulation of Competition.

PETER BRETT Visiting Professor of Law Mr. Brett received his U. B. from London University (1939), his LLM. at Western Australia University (1954), and his S.J.D. from Harvard (I960). His outstanding teaching career includes service as Senior Lecturer at Western Australia (1951 1954) and at Melbourne (1955 1961), where he was a Reader (1961-1963), Hearn Pro fessor (1963-1963), and Professor of Jurisprudence since 1965. Mr. Brett served as Legal Assistant to the Treasurv Solicitor in London (1946-1951) and has been admitted to practice by the Bar in Victoria, Australia. His major publications include An Inquiry Into Criminal Guilt, (1961), casebooks on Criminal and Administrative Law, and The Beamish Case, (1966). He came to Texas in the summer of 1959 as a Visiting Professor; returning to Texas this year, he teaches Criminal Law and Jurisprudence. MARION O. BONER Associate Law Librarian and Assistant Professor of Law Mrs. Boner received her B.A. (1930), M.A. (19M),and Ll.B. ( 955). alt at the University of Texas. She was Legislation Editor of the Texas Law Review, received the Order of the Coif, and graduated with Honors. Upon graduation she worked with Judge Robert W. Stayton as Research Associate for the University of Texas Law School Foundation, publishing a series of five articles, The Plastic Code in Operation,” in the Texas lutu Review. Mrs. Boner 'joined the staff as Rcfetcncc Librarian (1960-1965) and has brought distinction to our school as a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and of its Committees on the Index to Legal Periodicals and on Publications. She Is a member of Kappa Beta Pi, serving as its faculty advisor, anil is on the Faculty Committee of the Texas Law Review. flOODFIN L. BUTTE Professor of Law At.
