E. ERNEST GOLDSTEIN Professor of Law Mr. Goldstein received his A.B. in 1939 from Amherst College, and his LL.B. from Georgetown University in 1947. Ho then attended Wisconsin University School cf Law and obtained his S.J.D. in 1956. He served with the Justice Department from 1947 to 1949, and with the War Claims Division from 1949 to 1951. He held other govern-ment posts as Assistant Counsel, Special Senate Crime Committee in 1951, General Counsel Monopoly Sub-Committee of the House Committee on the Judiciary in 1951 and 1952, and finally os United States Representative at the OEEC in Paris from 1952 to 1954. Mr. Goldsto'n come to the University of Texas School of Law in 1955 as an Associate Professor. He was promoted to Professor in 1958. His subjects are: Government Regulation, International Law, Common Market Seminar and Patent, Trademark and Copyright Low. Mr. Goldstein is a member of the American Society of International Low and the Texas and District of Columbia Bars. In 1959 and I960, he was a Ford Foundation International Studies Fellow. Mr. Goldstein is o Peregrinus 65 Dedicatee. LEON GREEN Distinguished Professor of Law Mr. Green holds a B.A. from Ouachita College, on M.A. from Yale University, and an LL.B. from the University of Texas. He has also received the LL.D. degree from Louisiana State University. Beginning as on Instructor in Law in 1915, at the University, he rose to Professor of Law in 1920. After being in private practice for six years, he became Dean (on leave] of the University of North Carolina School of Law, and during that time became a Professor of Law at Yale University. Afterwords, he remained Dean of Northwestern University School of Law for 18 years. He then returned to Texas as Professor of Law. He has written numerous articles which have appeared in law reviews throughout the Nation. His books include Rationale of Proximate Cause, Judge and Jury, Cases on Relations, The Judicial Process in Tort Cases, Traffic Victims and My Philosophy of Law. ROBERT W. HAMILTON Associate Professor of Law Mr. Hamilton received his B.A. degree from Swarthmore College in 1952, and in 1955 obtained a J.D. from the University of Chicago School of Law. He served as Law Clerk to Justice Clark of the United States Supreme Court from 1955-56. Mr. Hamilton was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 1956. He left private practice in Washington. D.C., to join the Texas Law Faculty in 1964. Mr. Hamilton lectures in Contracts. Creditor's Rights and Business Associations. 29

WILLIAM F. FRITZ Professor of Law Mr. Fritz received his B.A. degree and his M.A. degree from the University of Texas, the latter having been awarded in 1938. Upon completion of his law studies in 1946, Mr. Fritz began his toaching career at the University of Texas Law School. During 1949 he was a Sterling Fellow at Yale University School of Law. Mr. Fritz was made Professor of Law at Texas in 1956. having previously been both Assistant ond Associate Professor of Law. His subjects are Marital Rights, Property and Damages. Mr.. Fritz co-authored the casebook. Cases and Materials on Property, w'th Messrs. Corwin Johnson and John Cribbett. CARL H. FULDA Professor of Lav Mr. Fulda was awarded a J.V.D. in 1931 from the University of Freiburg and an LL.8. from Yale University in 1938. From 1946 to 1954 Mr. Fulda was a Professor of Law at Rutger University Law School. In 1954 he joined the faculty of Ohio State Un versity College of Low. He came to the University of ‘I’exas Law School in 1964. Mr. Fulda is the author of numerous articles in legal periodicals. He is on the Boaro of Editors of the American Journal of Comparative Law and the Journal of International Law and Commerce. During 1959-1960 he was a Ford Foundation Fe low. This yea'- Mr. Fulda is teaching Government Regulations, Administrative Law, International Transactions and a Seminar in Transportation. THOMAS J. GIBSON, III Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor of Law Dear Gibson received his B.A. from the University of Texas in 1939, and his LL.B. from the Law School in 1948. He was admitted to practice in Texas in 1949. Dean Gibson was instructor at the University in 1950 and 1951, and Texas State Librarian from 1952 to 1954.  WARNER HANCOCK Legal Aid Attorney Mr. Hancock was in private practice from 1949 until 1950. He was Assistant Secretary of the State Bar of Texas from 1950 to 1951. He was an Instructor in Low at the University of Texas from 1952 to 1955. He is presently serving in the capacity of Assistant Director of the Lego Aid Clinic. Born in 1923. Mr. Hancock received his B.B.A. degree from Baylor University in 1943, and his LL.B. from the University of Texas in 1948. HELEN HARGRAVE Associate Professor of Lav Miss Hargrave received her LL.B. and was admitted to the practice in 1936. In 1930. she become Assistant Law Librarian at the University of Texas. She is a past-President of the American Association of Law Librarians and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Miss Hargrave lectures in Local Bibliography. Having served as Law Librarian since 1940. Miss Hargrave is retiring this year. GUS M. HODGES Professor of Law Mr. Hodges received his LL.B. from the Law School in 1932. He had previously received his B.B.A. in 1930. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1932, and practiced law in Dallas until 1940. In 1940, he returned to Austin to teach at the Law School. Since that time he has ectured in Judicial Remedies, 'rial Procedure and Pleading and Appellate Procedure. He is the author of the standard work. Special Issue Submission in Texas, which earned him the recognition of being the foremost authority on Special Issues in Texas. Mr. Hodges has also served as a Commissioner on Uniform State Law. He is also co-author of the casebook. Texas Trial and Appellato Procedure, with Messrs. Guser- Jones and Frank Elliott. 30
