Sfhtratton HiUtams The Pcregrinus of 1962 is affectionately dedicated to our beloved Jerre S. Williams, an excellent professor, intense leader, and conscientious member of the legal profession. His noble heart and astute ability reaches out to every student who comes under his wing. He is a standard by which to measure men; his views are not binding on his students but remain an echo to be an inspiration and a vision that hates may wither and prejudice may die. He manifests those qualities which characterize the gentleman and the scholar: considerate, generous, and patient but quietly perseverant. His indefatigable industry in preparation for teaching and his unwearying insistence upon accuracy of analysis significes the concept that we who seek membership in the legal profession owe an intangible duty of improvement to the profession and to ourselves. Without a rival in breath of knowledge in Constitutional Law and the practical virtues in the field of Labor Relations, he epitomizes the caliber of professorship at this school of law.
