THE STUDENT BAR ASSOCIATION The Student body of the School of Law is organized as a Bar Association, with membership automatically including every student in the law school. The officers of the Association consist of a President, Vice-President, and a Secretary-Treasurer. The Association is comprised of Class Officers, the Chairman of the Honor Council, and the Kditor of the Dicta. This group is known as the Board of Governors. It is the rule making body of the Bar Association. The object of the Association is to unify the efforts of students and to direct them toward a worthy end, to enhance co-operation and understanding among the students, the faculty, and active practitioners, and to foster respect for the legal profession, and pride in the law school. The trustees arc selected to a life membership on the Board of Trustees. They give prospective donors confidence that large gifts will be wisely spent and as directed, administer the fund. As the University of Texas School of Law continues to grow, the problems of the Board of Trustees become more complex, but the ability of the men on the Board of Trustees has proven capable of administering the financial needs of the University Law School as it progresses in size as one of the four largest day law schools in the nation. filj •UOKMK'.'
