BLACKSTOCK Visiting Professor of Law Mr. Blackstock taught Business Administration at Trinity University, 1924-1925, Business Law at Sam Houston State Teachers College, 1925-1927, and has been Professor of Business Law at The University of Texas since 1927. A member of the Texas Bar since 1933, he was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1952 and the United States Court of Military Appeals in 1955. He was Chief Examiner, Cas Utilities Division, Railroad Commission of Texas, 1937- 1938. In 1953 he became Visiting Professor of Law at The University of Texas School of Law, and his volume of Cases on Military Justice was published in 1954. Since 1940 he has been a Colonel, judge Advocate Ceneral's Corps, United States Army Reserve. CUSTY Visiting Professor of Law Mr. Custy came to The University of Texas for the 1958 spring semester from the University of Mississippi Law School where he was Associate Professor of Law, 1950-1954, and has been Professor of Law since 1954. He is faculty advisor to the Mississippi Law Journal. He served in the United States Army, 1941-1946, and is presently a Captain, Iudge Advocate General's Corps, United States Army Reserve. FRANKI Visiting Professor of Law Mr. Franki was Assistant Attorney General of Texas, 1934-1935, then entered private practice. He became a part-time Lecturer at the College of Business Ad- ministration at The University of Texas in 1947, and a part-time Lecturer in Law at the School of Law in 1948. He was Special Assistant to the U. S. Ambassador, Santiago, Chile, 1942-1944, and spent 1945 with the U. S. Department of State. He is the author of Vernon's Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. Page 18 IERRE STOCKTON WILLIAMS Professor of Law Mr. Williams became Instructor in Law, University of Iowa, and Faculty Editor, Iowa Law Review, 1941-1942, Assistant Professor of Law, University of Denver, 1946, Associate Professor of Law, University of Texas, 1946-1950, and Professor of Law in 1950. He was an attorney with the Office of Price Administration, Wash- ington, D. C., in 1942, and a Captain in the United States Army, 1942-1946, and was Associate Director, Study of Loyalty-Security Program, City of New York Bar Association, 1955-1956. He is the author of Cases and Materials on Employees' Rights and The Supreme Court Speaks, and was Associate Editor, Labor Relations and the Law. Subjects: Constitutional Law, Labor Relations, Employees' Rights, Legal Pro- fession, Seminar in Legal and Economic Aspects of Collective Bar- gaining Born 1916 A.B., University of Denver, 1938 LL.B., Columbia University, 1941 IOSEPH PARKER WITHERSPOON Professor of Law Mr. Witherspoon was Assistant Professor of Law at The University of Texas, 1948-1950, Associate Professor of Law, 1950-1955, and has been Professor of Law since 1955. He was on leave of absence, 1951-1952, as Chief Counsel, Apparel and Service Trades Branches, O.P.S., Washington, D. C. He is advisory editor, Natural Law Forum. Mr. Witherspoon was Lieutenant Commander, United States Naval Reserve, on active duty 1942-1946. He was on leave at Harvard University, 1957- 1958, on a Rockefeller Foundation grant for research in jurisprudence. After being admitted to practice in Texas, Mr. Woodward served in the United States Army, 1943-1945, was in private practice in Amarillo, 1945-1946, became Associate Professor of Law, University of Texas, 1946, and Professor of Law in 1950. In 1949-1950 he was a Sterling Fellow, Yale University. He has been Acting Dean of The University of Texas School of Law during the summer sessions since 1950 and the 1958 spring semester. He was Assistant Dean, 1948-1951, and Associate Dean, 1951-1953. Page 20 CAYNOR KENDALL Visiting Professor of Law Mr. Kendall was admitted to practice in Texas in 1932, at which time he became Assistant Attorney General of Texas. Since 1935 he has been in private practice, except for service in the United States Navy, 1944-1946. Mr. Kendall became a part-time Lecturer in Law at The,University of Texas School of Law in 1950. DEAN MOORHEAD Visiting Professor of Law Mr. Moorhead was admitted to the Texas and Federal bars in 1942, and served as Assistant Attorney General of Texas, 1942-1945. In 1943-1944 Mr. Moorhead was on the faculty of The University of Texas School of Law, and in 1946-1947 on the faculty of the College of Business Administration. He is a member of the International Association of Insurance Counsel and Federal Insurance Counsel.
