WILLIAM O. HUIE Professor of Law After being admitted to the Texas Bar in 1935, Mr. Huie practiced in Austin until 1936, when he became Assistant Professor of Law at The University of Texas. He rose to Associate Professor of Law in 1939 and has been a Professor of Law since 1946. He was Assistant Dean at The University of Texas School of Law, 1946-1948. In 1939-1940 he was a Research Fellow, Harvard Law School. He served in the Office of Price Administration as Senior Attorney, 1942-1943, and in the United States Nav , 1943-1946. His ublished casebooks o y p n Texas law include Administration of Estates, Land Limitations, Public Lands, and Marital Rights. From 1942 to 1946 he was a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 1946 he was ad- mitted to practice in California and became an Instructor in Law at the University of Iowa. In 1941, and again in 1947, he was a Sterling Fellow at Yale University Law School. He joined The University of Texas faculty in 1947 as Assistant Pro- fessor of Law, rose to Associate Professor of Law in 1949, and has been Professor of Law since 1954. He has been an active member of the several Water Law Con- ferences sponsored by The University of Texas School of Law. During the 1958 spring semester he was on leave teaching at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He became Assistant Professor and Law Librarian, Baylor Uni- versity, 1946-1948g Associate Professor of Law, 1948-1956, Visiting Professor of Law, University of Texas, Spring 19553 Associate Professor of Law, 1956, and Pro- essor of Law, 1957. He is the author of Legal Bibliography and Research, was I isiting Associate Professor of Law and Faculty Editor of Louisiana Law Review, E955-1956, and a member of Texas State Bar Committee on Revision of Corpora- ion Laws. He became Associate Professor of Law at The University of Texas in 1930, and has been Professor of Law since 1936. He became an Associate Professor in 1949, and has been Professor of Law since 1956. He was a Sterling Fellow, Yale Law School, 1949-1950, and served in the United States Army, 1943-1945. MORRISON Professor of Law Mr. Morrison worked as an economist for the Agricultural Extension Service, University of Wyoming, 1939-1941, and served in the United States Army, 1942- 1945. OBERER Professor of Law Mr. Oberer was in private practice in Detroit, Michigan, 1949-1955, after serv- ing in the United States Army, 1942-1946. He was part-time Lecturer at the Detroit College of Law, 1952-1955, became Associate Professor of Law, University of Texas, in 1955, and Professor of Law in 1957. Mr. Oberer is on leave, serving as Executive Secretary of the Public Review Board of the U.A.W. International Union. He came to The University of Texas in 1948 as Associate Professor of Law, and has been Professor of Law since 1950. He was Assistant Executive Director of the Texas Legislature, 1950-1952, and general editor and co-author of the Study of the Uni- form Commercial Code.
