STUDENT ASSOCIATION LLOYD HAND President STERLING STEVES V ice-President JANE CARLISLE Secretary The Student Association provides the medium of expression for the opinions of the student body. The presi- dent serves as the presiding officer of the Student Assembly and the chairman of the Board of Directors of Texas Student Publications. In case of emergency or resignation, the president is succeeded by the vice-president. The vice- president is chairman of all financial and appropriation committees of the Association and chairman of the Social Calendar committee. The compiling of the yearbook of the Association and other secretarial duties are performed by the secretary. This year Sterling Steves was appointed vice-president after David Raincy ' s resignation. The Student Cabinet, a new committee, has been formed to advise and discuss problems with Lloyd Hand.
