Associate Professor of Pharmacy. He has been on the University staff since 1924 and has been active in the development of the medicinal plant garden. He is an ex- student of the University. FREDERIC DUNCALF, Ph.D., Professor of Medieval History. ,t excellent lecturer and outstanding teacher. He is interested in Plan II and teaches a special course for students under this Plan. ERNEST RANDOLPH HARDIN, M.A. (left). Assistant Professor of Speech. His hobby is art and he is a very talented painter and designer. He has traveled extensively and has taught at the University since 1932. ROGER COOK OSBORN, M.A., Instructor in Applied Mathematics and Astronomy. An ex-student of the University and a new addition to the teaching staff, he has been on the faculty since 1942.

She is outstanding in the field of Linguistics and has been on the faculty since 1917 except for several years away for graduate and foreign study. REX DEYERN HOPPER, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Sociology. He is active in student, church, and civic affairs and is a popular lecturer. He if on the staff of the Summer School of the University of Mexico. MARY ERNESTINE GOLDMANN. M.S. (left I. Assistant Professor of Home Economics. She is in charge of the Home Economics Practice Houses. She is an ex-student of the University and joined the teaching staff in 1941. COLLIER READ CRANBERRY. M.S.. One of the most stimulating personalities on the campus, he has a pro- found influence on student thinking. His broad interests include the advocation of a new liberal education.
