Wilmot Jet Winters ORENE ILBOKN THE HOME ECONOMICS CLUB is one of the oldest and largest women ' s professional clubs on the campus. It is twenty-six years old and has a membership of about two hundred, including faculty and alumnae members. The club has three purposes : to broaden the interest of club members along lines of home economics and related fields outside of classroom procedure; to promote acquaintance among the girls of the various divisions of the department; to provide a scholarship for an outstanding student in the department.

Its purposes are to stimulate and reward high scholarship, to foster closer cooperation among the students, teachers, and others in the profession, and to be a constructive force, helping members and non-members alike in improving the standards of the profession by contributing worthwhile services of lasting value. Besides several singularly delightful social activities enjoyed by its members during the current year, the club was well represented in the intramural sport competition.
