I. Moore and the faculty advisors. One hundred and twenty students passed the tryouts for membership. The purpose of the organization is to study and produce musical drama and to develop an appreciation of music. Under the leadership of Lester C. Brenizer, the company gave for its premier performance The Firefly by Rudolph Friml, on Saturday, April 16, during the Round-Up. The University Orchestra played the ac- companiment for the production. Much of the credit for the successful production goes to the work of Earl Toepperwein, stage manager and technical director.
